How much are the shipping costs worth?
You can check it yourself by putting the items you’re interested in buying in the cart. It will automatically show you how much the shipment would cost you.
Anyway, I leave you this list so you can get an idea…
Shipping costs to:
- Spain: from 1’95€, without certification, and from 4’95€, certified.
- Europe and Greenland: from 7’5€ (always certified)
- Japan, Canada, United States and New Zealand: from 8’95€ (always certified)
- Rest of the countries: from 8’60€ (always certified)
How are the shipments made?
All international orders are sent certified, with a tracking number.
For Spain there’s the option of certified shipping, and without certification. The latter is cheaper, but in case of loss, I’m not responsible. Nothing has to happen, but if you want to be one hundred percent sure that you will receive your order, or to be protected if you don’t receive it, I advise you to choose certified shipping.
How long will it take to receive my order?
When someone places an order for me, I have it ready to ship in 24/48 (an exception for custom commissions, which usually take a month or so). Once delivered to transport, depending on the country in which you reside, it will take more or less to receive it. These are the approximate delivery times:
- For Spain: 1-4 business days, approximately
- For Europe: 4-10 business days, approximately.
- For the rest of the countries: 5-30 business days, approximately.
In international orders, delays may occur depending on the work involved in customs.
IMPORTANT: although it is not usual, due to the current situation due to Covid-19, delivery times for international orders may be a little longer.
What payment methods are available?
Orders can be paid by credit or debit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
If paying by bank transfer, it must be taken into account that the order won’t be processed until I have received the amount in my account, and this may take a few days.
Can an order be paid in installments?
In the case of Blythe dolls, I accept layaway. If you would like to buy any of the ones for sale, but it’s very difficult for you to pay it at once, there’s the option of paying it in two, three or four installments (depending on the total price of the doll in question). If you’re interested in this payment option, send me a message, and I will inform you without obligation.
Do you accept returns?
I only accept returns, in case the order arrives in poor condition at its destination. In the other cases, no. Keep in mind that all the items in this store are handmade, many of them are even made to order. And the dolls are one-of-a-kind works… they’re objects for collectors, which take many hours of dedication… What is seen in the photographs reflects reality. I understand that whoever purchases a doll is because he liked it beforehand, and he’s sure of their purchase. Keep in mind also that although I put time, patience and care in every detail of the articles that I create, they’re hand-made works, and they cannot be perfect. Something that, on the other hand, makes them unique and special.
What happens if my order arrives in bad condition, or there’s a problem with it?
Thoroughly prepared all packages before shipping, so that they are not damaged during the journey to their destination, and a breakage incident would be highly unlikely. But if for any reason your order arrives broken, please send me a detailed photograph of the damage to email@example.com and I will refund the price of the item (in certain cases, a return of the item will be required before proceeding to the refund of your amount).
This photograph must be sent the same day you receive the order. If not, I will consider that it has been broken once you already had it in your possession.
Let you know that it is very important to me that my customers are happy with their purchases. So if any problem arises with your order, please, before feeling cheated (I can assure you that this will never be my intention), contact me. If it’s a logical and consistent complaint, don’t doubt that I will do my best to solve any problem.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, I make custom Blythe dolls to order, to your liking! You can find detailed information on this topic by clicking here.
Are your dolls made for a child to play with?
Children can play with them, of course… but they’re handicraft pieces, for collectors, that have been treated with care to be able to keep them in good condition. They have not been created as toys for children. So if it is used for this purpose, it must be taken into account that its duration will be shorter. And I won’t be responsible for possible damage or breakage.
Can the dolls be washed?
For a good maintenance of the dolls, it’s advisable not to wet them and rub them. After painting the dolls, a quality protective varnish has been used. They have several layers of this product, and are well protected… But it’s preferable not to, to ensure that they remain intact. Better to avoid dislikes!
How do you have to handle the pull strings to make the change of eyes of the dolls?
To make the change of eyes, and the lowering and raising of the eyelids, it’s strongly recommended to hold the dolls by the head and pull the strings, by the part closest to the head, in the place of the pull strings. These’re something rather aesthetic, and not one hundred percent functional. So if they’re pulled, they could break. By doing it the other way, we make sure that the dolls are kept in good condition.
